JOIN OUR NEW HIP HOP CREW!
For dancers in our Junior (Year 4&5) and Pre-Teen (Year 6-Year 9) age groups, we're introducing the newest, most epic dance experience yet! Our Hip Hop crew is YOUR opportunity to get involved with our competition program at ProgressDNA, plus join a dance family like no other!
Registrations for our Hip Hop Crew will close in Mid Term 1 2026, so that the team can really lock in and rehearse for competitions!
This team requires no auditions or invitations - we just require dancers to be taking 1 x general stream hip hop class, too, so that they're getting their technique training in!

Our Companies provide opportunities to dancers who demonstrate both incredible talent and the ProgressDNA values. It's about building a dance family, instilling confidence in our dancers, and giving extra training and performance opportunities to dancers who are excited to excel!
We pride ourselves on winning MULTIPLE Overall Spirit Awards this season - showcasing the incredible professionalism, energy and kindness that Progress dancers lead with!
Our Companies compete at three competitions a year, and are also invited to other performances like local fairs are representatives of ProgressDNA.
Acceptance into our Company program is by invitation or trail - but we'd love to hear from you to set up a trial, or chat through pathways to get there! We LOVE kids with drive and passion, and with the right tools, every dancer will find their place.
BALLET, TAP AND ACRO EXAMS MADE FUN!
For those looking to take their dance training to a higher level, ProgressDNA offers exams for dancers taking ballet, tap or acro classes. We use the Acrobatic Arts Syllabus for Acro, the TapMode Syllabus for Tap and the ATOD Syllabus for Ballet.
The best part? Our exams don't require extra weekly classes, exorbitant extra costs or lots of pressure! Our dancers are encouraged to participate in exams - so their exam work is incorporated into their regular weekly class.
Our exam days are so much fun! They're all about celebrating the growth and successes of our performers, so it's like a big party in the waiting room. Dancers arrive to get their hair done, and get a fun, sparkly hair accessory to wear, so they feel SUPER special. Think words of encouragement beforehand, and teachers waiting outside the door with a BIG "Congratulations!" at the end. Think cupcakes, high fives and dance parties.
